Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

At Khalsa Jatha British Isles Gurdwara, we take immense pride in offering a diverse range of programs and activities that cater to the spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of our vibrant Sikh community. Our Gurdwara, nestled in the heart of Central London, is a sacred space where people from all walks of life come together to connect, learn, and grow.

Our Vision

Guided by the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, our vision is to foster an environment of love, compassion, and understanding. We aim to uphold the values of the Sikh faith while also embracing the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our diverse congregation.

Programs for Spiritual Growth

Embrace the spiritual journey with our regular Nitnem, Gurbani Kirtan, Asa di Vaar and Katha programs. These sessions are led by experienced Raagis and Kathavachaks creating an atmosphere of devotion, enlightenment and growth.

Educational Endeavours

Knowledge is a cornerstone of our faith. Join our educational programs, where we delve into the teachings of Sikh Gurus, history, and Punjabi language. We offer classes for children, and adults, ensuring they grow up with a deep understanding of the Guru’s language and heritage. We also run regular talks, workshops and seminars with subject matters experts on many topics related to our path of spiritual uplift and gristhi jeevan.

Community Outreach

We believe in giving back to society. Our community outreach initiatives include Langar Seva, where we serve free meals to all, regardless of background. Additionally, we engage in and support several foodbanks, community centres, care homes and other initiatives and project locally, nationally and internationally. We also continually engage with local schools, local residents, local council, agencies and other faith groups.

Cultural Celebrations

Celebrate the rich tapestry of Sikh culture and traditions with our festive programs. From Gurpurabs to Vaisakhi, Diwali and Bandi Chor, the colourful anand karaj, birth naming ceremony, to the rich variety of food provided through the service of Langar, we come together to honor the teachings of our Gurus and share the joy with the wider community.

Health and Well-being

A healthy body and mind are integral to leading a fulfilling life. Join our mens and womens groups, monthly simran, talks and explore holistic approaches to well-being that harmonise with the teachings of the Sikh Gurus
